영어 비교급과 최상급
퀴즈로 실력을 확인해 보세요두 가지를 비교할 때는 비교급을, 하나를 그룹 안의 나머지 전체와 비교할 때는 최상급을 씁니다. 짧은 형용사에는 -er과 -est를 붙이고, 긴 형용사에는 more와 most를 씁니다.
만드는 법
규칙은 형용사의 길이와 끝 글자에 따라 달라집니다.

불규칙 형태
아주 자주 쓰는 몇몇 단어는 고유한 형태가 있습니다. 통째로 외워 두세요.

than 쓰기
비교급 뒤에 than을 두어 비교 대상을 나타냅니다. 차이가 얼마나 큰지 보여 주려면 비교급 앞에 much, a lot, a bit을 씁니다.
My brother is taller than me.형은 나보다 키가 커요.
Trains are much faster than buses.기차는 버스보다 훨씬 빨라요.
This one is a bit cheaper than that one.이게 저것보다 조금 더 싸요.

the + 최상급 쓰기
최상급 앞에는 보통 the를 씁니다. 장소나 집단에는 in을, 여러 개의 사물이나 기간에는 of를 씁니다.

as ... as와 not as ... as
두 가지가 같다고 말할 때는 as + 형용사 + as를 씁니다. 앞의 것이 덜하다고 말할 때는 not as ... as를 씁니다. 형용사는 기본형 그대로 씁니다.
