Present Continuous

在英语中，为了表达正在发生或暂时持续的动作，我们使用现在进行时 (Present Continuous)。

何时使用现在进行时？

该时态通常用于描述此时此刻正在发生的动作或临时性的状况。

用法示例
此刻正在进行的动作She is reading a book.
暂时性的情况I am working in London this week.
已计划的近期未来We are meeting them tonight.
正在改变的状态The weather is getting colder.

静态动词 (Stative Verbs)

某些表示状态的动词通常不用于进行时。

know知道I know the answer.
like喜欢She likes music.
believe相信They believe the story.
understand理解I understand the problem.

否定句

现在进行时的否定式是在助动词后加 'not'。

I am not + verb-ingI am not working.

缩写形式isn't / aren't

疑问句

在疑问句中，助动词置于句首。

结构示例

简略回答Yes, she is. / No, they aren't.

-ing 的拼写规则

在动词后添加 -ing 时，需要遵循一定的拼写规则。

原形-ing 形式例句

  • 大多数动词直接加 -ing
  • 以不发音的 'e' 结尾的动词，去掉 'e' 再加 -ing
  • 短元音重读闭音节动词，双写末尾辅音字母再加 -ing

正确用法检查

使用现在进行时时，请确认：

  • 动作是否正在发生？
  • 是否使用了助动词 'am / is / are'？
  • 动词是否为 -ing 形式？
  • 该动词是动作动词还是静态动词？

现在进行时由 'to be' 助动词和动词的 -ing 形式构成。
